The man that most credit with ruining the Christina School District was fired from the job that he abandoned Christina for. Sounds like a huge sordid affair with him and the board. If you are a potential future employer Googling for Joseph Wise to see if he should be hired as the superintendent of your kids school district, I’d keep looking.

Andy (local radio talk show host in Jacksonville, Fl) is wanting to know :
Ms. Thresa Giles, the chief business officer for the Duval Schools, came with Joey from Delaware, screwed up there, screwed up here, did not deserve that job, did not deserve this job, and she got both jobs…because her brother is one of promiscuous Joey’s former boyfriends.
David Sundstrom, chief of staff for Duval Schools, came with Joey from Delaware, and so did David’s wife, Mrs. Sundstrom, who teaches French and who is French. Mr. Sundstrom is not qualified to do his job, did a bad job, got his job only because of his cozy relationship with Wise. Mrs. Sundstrom DOES at least speak French but is a poor teacher and does not command the respect of her kids due to her lack of profiency in ENGLISH. She got her job because of her husband. David is rumored to be a current or former one of promiscuous Joey’s boyfriends, notwithstanding the fact that he has a wife.
Jonathon Brice is chief officer of academic services and came with Joey from Delaware and is not fit for the job and got his job because he is Joey’s well-known (I am told) current boyfriend, life-partner, etc.
Keith Pittman, supervisor of Web and visual arts, came with Joey and is also rumored to be a current or former Joey Wise boyfriend.
Ken Williams, dean of integrated arts, came with Joey from Delaware. Various rumors.
Scott Flowers, principal of Terry Parker, is well-known (I am told) as a former Joey Wise boyfriend. He, too, came with Joey from Delaware.
The newspaper says that Jim Streit, Jr., interim director of communications, came with Wise from Delaware where he was publisher of a Delaware newspaper which covered the schools in Wise’s former school district.
Can anyone shed any light on these topics?

I think they are all lies. I have heard some of the same rumors, but I have also heard other things about some of those same people. The one guy…Chief officer of academic affairs…I have heard he and joey are lovers, i have also heard he is married with kids. How can he live with joey and has a family. Which is true? All the people in Duval need to leave Joey alone. If he wants to be with a man, so be it…How many teachers in the system is gay? Why haven’t you all gone after those people? Double standards! GROW UP, people…

All of the rumors may or may not be true.
Having had to work all too closely with Joey and his entourage before, I believe they are true.

I am a former student of Joey Wise. I have know Mr. Wise for 25 years. He never did anything improper in my years in High School. Mr. Wise was a band director and Ken Williams was a clinician we would see during summer band in High School. Mr. Wise left our high school a few months before the end of my senior year to take an administrators position with the local school system. As a teacher Mr. Wise never did anything to question his ability to educate us. Ken Williams on the othere hand became the band director the following year over the assistant band director who had been at our school for three years prior to Mr. Wise leaving. Ken Williams was the band director for several years at my old high school. Eventually Ken Williams followed our former high school principal and Mr. Wise to Charlotte, NC. I do not know this Mr. Wise in this court case but I recall a much different person. Mr. Wise never did anything to any of us but be a good teacher.

Mhm…Wise…I’m 17 and a student in the Duval County School District of Jacksonville, Florida. Wow…how did he get elec- (Hmm caught myself, we appoint, we don’t elect…not in line with democracy for some reason)
Anyways, he was appointed for some odd reason and, well, he changed the “duvalschools.org” wesite to “dreamsbeginhere.org”. Is that not just…wrong sounding? Either way, he left us with less than what the Christina district got- $21 million instead of $11.
and he already has a new job.
He was fired about halfay through the year and so got paid for the rest (another large chunk…
WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?!
And to Wise: If you are reading this, rest assured that you deserve no more than to be dragged through town by your ankles.
