Those who deny it are also those who NEVER can find a single instance when the USA has intervened either overtly or covertly in an military effort and acted in a way that by international and humanitarian standards are criminal. They might admit that the effort was botched or too precipitous, but they will never declare that the effort per se was wrong.

That is quite a remarkable claim given the numerous military adventures the USA has engaged in since the onset of the 20th century until today.
