Forget about the drunk driving wife abusing State rep. Forget about the lame ass congressional delagation. Get a load of this…
Matt Amis, who must be some kind of moron, writes in Delaware today magazine;
“Too much time on your hands? Here are 10 Delacentric blogs you’ve got to see”
And here are the ten MUST SEE blogs:
Down With Absolutes – yes
Delaware Watch – of course
Kilroy’s Delaware – okay
The Colussus of Rhodey – fine
Delaware Business Blog - Huh, Who reads that?
Mike’s Musings – absolutly
Carper’s Corner – ….*spit take* WHAT!? WTF is that doing in a list of must read blogs?
Of Pets and People - uhhm ?
Gazizza - What? No!
Pulp Culture – Okay I guess.
That’s it. That is your ten must read delaware blogs. Matt Amis - you are on my list pal.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEnteresting.

The fact that you were snubbed doesn’t bother me so much, but DELAWARELIBERAL !!?
Unreal. The guy must be some kind of crack addict or mental deficient of some stripe.

Must…POST…more…info! I’m at work…don’t have access to DE Today’s page…and I’m salivating…as I normally do because I’m a media whore!
December 21, 2006 at 12:38 pm
Enough about you, I’m shocked he snubbed Celia Cohen!!!
Oh right, she’s not a blogger…but Tom Carper is?

Hmm. I’m happy we made the “cut”; however, does anyone have a direct URL to the article, or is registration required?
December 21, 2006 at 1:01 pm
Hey, here we go. I registered, however, so it may prompt you for such.
December 21, 2006 at 1:15 pm
Hube,
My computer machine is not letting me register. Why don’t you post it?
Mike,
“Bloggers: A rougues gallery of cranky Delawareans, though Wilmington’s Mike Mattews hadles the bulk.
Subject Matter: Poltiics, miscellaneous
Description: DWA deconstructs politics and delevers it with all the tact of a sledge hammer. The language may border on PG-13, bu these guys rarely miss the mark.”
Then an excerpt from when you gave Hendrix props for picking up the yard signs after the election.

Jase: Just tried. They must have a javascript right-click protection — I can’t copy any text from the article.
But registration is free and immediate, so if you can find another computer …

I’m just looking through this magazine and I have an observation to make.
Delaware’s ruling class must get a shit load of plastic surgery in order to support all of these plastic surgey practices.
December 21, 2006 at 6:43 pm
[...] Taking my bow As if on command, everyone’s favorite elitist state magazine has profiled 10 local blogs in its January 2007 issue. Of course, there are many elitist magazines in the state, but the one I speak of today is Delaware Today, which has done a pretty damn good job of including a balanced round-up of some popular blogs (Of course, Jason is right…are Delaware’s Business Blog and Tom Carper piece-of-shit blog really that widely read?) Anyhow, here’s my write-up: Down with Absolutes! [...]

Jason, you and Dave definitely deserve to be on the list.
I suspect you guys were excluded because of all the spookiness associated w/ the number 10.
December 21, 2006 at 10:37 pm
Thanks Dana.
I would not have minded so much, but Tom Carper’s “blog” made the list.
Dag!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEnteresting.
you know, it is a small wonder that first state politics missed the mark in lieu of the Colossas folks.
The only reason the Grapevine was excluded is because Celia would pitch a fit at being thrown in with the DE bloggers!!
Kudos to Kilroy for his notation (he works so damn hard!!!!) I just haven’t gotten over there very often since the elections.
Delaware Liberal has to get on the WNJ listing, perhaps, to garner authority with the DT crowd.

I think they were trying to find balance, and not have 100% political blogs. I think I’ll live.
December 22, 2006 at 11:14 am
they read my blog and I rock!
December 22, 2006 at 12:23 pm
What did you expect Jason? You attacked Castle and Carper, while Dana supported Republicans and maintained silence=assent on Castle and Carper. Of course the corporate DIP rags refused to give you publicity.

I actually tend to agree w/that assessment somewhat, but not from “Teach Me How To Spell & Layout A Blog, Please!” Nancy. But Dave has a point — it’s obvious they didn’t want to include just political blogs.
