Oh, the Clintons had nothing to do with what came after them in the uber destructive form of neocon evil.

If Gore had rightfully taken over we’d be sitting pretty….extremely pretty. The moderation of the Clinton era would have continued and the checks and balances of the middle would have served everyone.

These risky policies would have not have soured.

DEMs can be honest about job loss and they would not have trumped up war…they would have jumped on the Taliban and captured Osama (: – I assume!

My guess is that a DEM administration would have monitered trade balance, and carefully made adjustments when failures loomed, the risk is in the laissez faire and always has been.

This present mess belongs entirely to the GOP, Kavips.
But I would like to think that we should now steer off of the middle and give the beaten path a rest.

The reason the Madame Clinton (and all the other Dem Pres Wanabes) want Dean out is that they want to be president… So they want the DNC to implement an “Electoral College” strategy, not a “50 State” strategy in 08.

The Clintons have denied any prior knowledge of Carville’s rant, and it didn’t have the polish that a Clinton plant should have, so I believe them. On the other hand, Jimmy knows them well enough to go out and free-lance without consulting them first. You may be right.

But the Clintons also brought us immeasurable respect the world over. They gave us the best economic growth rate in this nations history, and for the first time in my life, ACTUALLY DID SOME DAMAGE TO THE DEFICIT, creating some surplus that actually allowed us to pay back some of the money we already owed. They stabilized the Balkens, which could have been done in Iraq, if reason, not ideology, had prevailed.

So “middle of the roads” should take heart.
Results are what matter. Personally I’m looking for someone to return to economic reality and realize that strengthing the treasury is the direction we need to take. Only then will this country regain “its soul.”

Instead of cutting taxes, we should increase our nation’s usable income, by cutting the deficit.

Clintons are quintessential DLCs – moving toward the center but risking their souls…(hear me Carper, Liberman et.al.).
The “art” of compromise got us into the last six years of unholy hell.
Clinton sold us CHINA, NAFTA and several other policy decisions that have contributed to the decline of the average American’s wealth, growth, and security.

It may be much more complicated than that. Carville should be considered a mouthpiece, (granted one of plausible deniable distance) for the Clintons. For some reason, the Clintons seem not to want Dean to lead their charge in ‘08.

At this point I am not sure I see why. Dean’s effort has won my support….

But, trust me, something big is afoot…….

Carville makes his living by soaking the Democratic Party. He has become irrelevant and the money has stopped flowing. I guess the Carvilles are going to have to cut back and see if they can live on one income from the lovely, lying Mrs. Carville. I’ve often wondered what they talk about in the morning as they share the sink. Once thing for certain, it has NOTHING to do with reality. Sorry, my mind wanders down weird paths sometimes.
